The Neighbours: Akoestische britpop/rock covers door buren en vrienden Tijs Valkenburg (Zang & Gitaar) en Daniel Winter (Lead Gitaar). In mei 2022 in de binnenstad van Vlissingen, besloten buren Tijs en Daniel om te gaan jammen. Dit werd het begin van The Neighbours. 

Stel: Je komt helemaal uit Nottingham of hélemaal uit Goes. Je besluit om naar een ander 'eiland' te verhuizen en je komt uit in Vlissingen.  De muren zijn dun en de schuttingen laag maar van geluidsoverlast was sowieso nooit sprake. De rijdende rechter kon thuisblijven want de buurman draait verrekte goede muziek! 

Van The Beatles en Oasis tot Al Stewart en Crowded House, om maar even wat te noemen.

Dan ga je even kletsen over de schutting. Geen schuttingtaal, maar gewoon in het Engels. Al gauw, zo rond de maand mei in het jaar 2022, stond de eerste jamsessie gepland. Dit was het begin van een goede vriendschap en een muzikaal project: The Neighbours. 

Maar de buurt heeft er inmiddels schoon genoeg van. Elke vrijdagavond wéér dat Beatle-nummer... en dan wéér die solo van 'Year of the Cat'... Klachten over gehoorschade en slaaptekorten regenen binnen... Om nog muziek te maken, hebben we nog maar één optie en dat is bij u komen spelen. Dus help de buurt (en The Neighbours) door ons te boeken! Het liefst vandaag nog!

Back in May 2022 in Vlissingen downtown neighbours Tijs  and Daniel decided to jam! This would be the beginning of The Neighbours.  

Imagine this: you come all the way from Nottingham or áll the way from Goes. You decide to move to another 'island' and you end up in Vlissingen. The walls are thin and the fences low, but there was never any noise pollution anyway. The Judge Rinder could stay home because the neighbour plays damn good music!

From The Beatles and Oasis to Al Stewart and Crowded House, just to name a few.

Then you obviously have a chat over the fence. No of'fence'sive language, just regular English. Soon, around the month of May in the year 2022, the first jam session was planned. This was the beginning of a good friendship and a musical project: The Neighbours.

But the neighbourhood has now had enough of it. Every Fridaynight that same old Beatle-song again... and then that solo from 'Year of the Cat' again... Complaints about hearing damage and sleep deprivation are pouring in... We only have one option left to make music and that is to come and play at your place. So help the neighbourhood (and The Neighbours) by booking us! Preferably today!
